Sue Oelke
Music Director
Sue has 2 children: Abigail 17 and Alexander 15. She grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin, where she spent time singing to the cows. Sue is the youngest of two girls and became Daddy's "Boy" because she liked to get dirty! Along with sharing her musical gifts with New Day, Sue works full time as a Special Education teacher in the Elk River school district. She currently works in Autism and has experience with many other aspects of the Special Needs area. Sue loves children of all ages and refuses to grow up herself! She claims to be about 14 now and works well with middle school students, since they understand her sarcasm! Sue has been very active in United Methodist Churches since 1994 when Abigail was born. Her favorite pass time is to smile at random people and watch as their smile grows back.

Lauren Snell
Outreach & Generosity Director
Lauren is diving in full force at New Day! She is the proud mother of her 26-year old son, Zach. She currently lives in Coon Rapids, and is looking forward to moving closer to Big Lake! She is the oldest of 4 children, and is active in the UMW, North Suburban Women's Club, and is a Lay Delegate to the Minnesota Conference of the UMC. Lauren is dedicated to serving the United Methodist church and community, and is actively pursuing ministry as a career.

Melissa Kroll
Childcare Coordinator

Melissa is a graduate of UW-Stout with a degree in Early Childhood-Special Education. She loves children and children love her! She is working part time at New Day and full time at Heritage Montessori School in Big Lake. Melissa is married to Christopher Kroll and they live in Big Lake. She is the oldest of four children in her family and is an active volunteer in the community, serving on the Spud Fest Board and Women of Today.

Terri has been working with children and families for 20+ years. She has a degree in Early Childhood from Concordia, St. Paul with additional certification in Biblical Studies.
Terri and her husband reside in Big Lake. They have two grown sons, who are married and two grand daughters all who also live in Big Lake. Terri is working part time at New Day while also working full time as a Realtor with Edina Realty in Big Lake. Terri is looking forward to sharing the love of Jesus with the children and families of Big Lake at New Day!
