How many people should we expect?
New Day’s gathering space accommodates up to 60 people at a time; take
the tables out and we can easily double that. Currently 20-60 people generally gather for each worship. 3
different worship times are offered each week, Saturday evenings
and 2 times on Sunday mornings, so as to provide you with options to fit your busy
schedules. These smaller worship
experiences also enable us to interact more, and build a deeper sense of
community between families.

What’s your worship style?
Anything but boring! We want you to feel free to be yourself and express your spirituality in ways that are meaningful for you. Expect to be engaged, challenged, and even laugh during worship; passive pew sitting is not our idea of spiritual vitality.
Actually, we don’t even have any pews ~ a select few worship services are in rows of chairs, but the majority of the time we are clustered around café tables (you’ve got to be able to put your coffee somewhere, right?!). And who knows – sometimes you might find us worshipping while sitting on pillows on the floor!
A blending of old and new rituals, music, litanies, and the like takes place. New Day’s style, more often than not, reflects a contemporary image and sound (projection system and band-style instruments).
What should we wear? ...bring? ...do?
Wear whatever you like – what matters to Jesus is not what clothes are on our outsides, but the heart we wear on our insides. Bring yourself just as you are; participate in what is comfortable and pass in what is not. Probably expect the worship leaders to be dressed in jeans, khakis, and whatever else they’re comfortable in.
What are your rules for communion and stuff?
New Day has an open table. Anyone who comes with a sincere heart and wishes to share in the Lord’s Table with us is welcome to do so. Likewise, children of all ages are welcome to participate fully in all of our rituals; the decision regarding age-appropriateness is left to each family to determine (instruction and guidance happily provided if desired).

What is "Family Friendly" worship?
During Evening worship and Sundays at the 10:45 worship times, kids are very welcome and encouraged to worship with their parents. Juice and treats are offered and a kids' craft table is available in the back of the worship space. Kids can choose to do a craft or other quiet activity at the back table, or take items to the table with their parents. Occasionally, Pastor Jim will offer a Children's Time during his message, in which all kids are invited to participate if they choose. With multiple worship services, our 1st through 6th grade "Sunday School" for children's education is offered as an evening program during the week. Click here for more info about kids ministries.
Childcare
is offered for children under 6 years old at ALL worship times. A more structured older preschool/kindergarten program is offered at the Sunday 10:45 worship time.
A cry room is also available for
nursing mothers and fussy infants, wired for sound for your
convenience.
What is "Adult Friendly" worship?
The same message, music, tables and coffee, are offered at the 9:00 Sunday worship time. Kids crafts, activities and treats are not offered at this time, and the outer doors are closed to eliminate some of the distractions that occur (and are embraced!) at the Family Friendly times. Childcare for preschoolers is offered at this worship time as well.
