New Day Childcare
During worship, New Day has paid, trained staff
working to provide quality care for preschoolers.
(6 Months - Kindergarten)
When parents bring their children to the childcare room at New Day,
they sign them in on the sign in sheet located on the table outside
the door. The parents or childcare worker will then write the child's name on a name tag and place it on the child's back.
Parents initial next to their child's name when dropping off and
picking up their children. The sign in sheet is a communication
tool between the childcare workers and parents: names of
children and parents, food allergies, other concerns, etc.
In the Childcare room there is a spot for the child's bag and/or
toys that they may bring.
Tags are available to identify these as well.
All baby toys that have been mouthed are placed in a bin to be disinfected.
Caregivers continually use hand sanitizers and wash tables and chairs.

Activities
An art/craft activity is available for the older preschoolers each week.
These usually correspond to the message or theme of the month.
Music and singing are part of each hour, and occasionally
(especially during evening worship)
VeggieTale videos are shown.
Our priority is to provide a safe and loving place for your little ones to feel at home!
NEW - Fall 2011:
Sundays During Worship
Older Preschoolers have their own special program during Sunday worship!
Children ages 4-6 will gather with paid staff
for bible stories, music, crafts and more.
When you arrive, the sign in procedure is the same; then either the
parent or staff can escort your child/children to the special room down
the hall.
Following worship, parents will sign out their children as
usual, and pick them up
either in the childcare room (staff may bring
them back when worship is over)
or in the room down the hall.
(Children ages 3 and under will remain in the childcare room throughout worship.)
